Hello there Kitty
These are strawberry cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. Each one of these two dozen Hello Kitty faces were hand piped with royal icing. I can top you favorite flavor cupcakes with your favorite characters.

I know that you been like "Hey chick where are the cookies???" Here they are. If you follow the blog you notice that the "icing" is different. I like to try new recipes as I come across them. This one is another type of royal icing, actually the same as the cake in the next post. It has the look of puff paint and is fluffy and makes the cookies more cake like. I like it so far, I am sure I will tweek it until it is perfect.

This cake says it all, the cake itself was a golden butter cake with vanilla buttercream. It is embelished with a 3D design made of royal icing. All of which is edible.
Chocolate ganache anyone?
Ok so I had never made chocolate ganache before.....and this seemed like a great time to try it. It came out ok, not as thinck as I would have liked, and it did not crust the way that I had hoped. Well, on to the cake, it was a devils food cake with peanut butter buttercream. That's right, buttercream flavored with actual peanut butter it was creamy and delishous. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, it was four layers of goodness.
